Community-Based Therapist
Overview
The Haven Family Counseling program at Boys & Girls Haven is seeking contract therapists to work with children, teens, and their families. Services will be delivered in a variety of settings, including clients’ homes, schools, outpatient offices, or via telehealth. This position is located in the Salt River Trail (SRT) region of Kentucky.

Boys & Girls Haven is a private non-profit agency, licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Boys & Girls Haven serves clients from across Kentucky through the main campus in Louisville and several satellite offices around the state. Since 1950, Boys & Girls Haven has helped youth and families live safer, healthier, and happier lives.
Job Description
We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and dedicated therapists to join our team. Qualified applicants will demonstrate:
- Commitment to high-quality, ethical clinical practice
- Technical skills necessary to provide services via telehealth
- Openness to providing clinical services in a variety of settings (e.g., office, schools, homes)
- A desire to work with individuals and families facing multiple challenges
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective time management and documentation skills.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in human services or a related field
- Independently licensed or practicing under supervision according to Kentucky regulations
- Have active professional liability insurance
- LCSW, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, MFTA, LCADC, LPAT
